Rules

What we ask of you

These are the 10 simple rules that we kindly ask you to respect:

Time table

1- Good morning from Bonsai! We serve breakfast in the dining room from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. A little piece of advice: savor it slowly, along with the silence and freshness of the morning.  It’s a beautiful thing.

2- Coming to see Gino for dinner tonight? Great choice!
Our chef will be waiting for you in the restaurant from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm to give you a taste of all of the different dishes he has prepared for that day. As for the menu – there is also a vegetarian option – leave space for inspiration.  Your meal will depend on which vegetables were picked that morning in the garden, on the other products provided by local farmers…and on Gino’s mood!
Haven’t booked half-board? Remember to reserve a table for dinner in the morning.

3- You may have already noticed the pleasantness and tranquility of the place. Stress melts away and the desire for relaxing calm and quiet just takes over.
This relaxing quiet is especially valuable at certain times of day: from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and after midnight until morning, please keep the volume low, not only when you speak!

4- Just so that you can organize: check-out on your day of departure prior to 10:00 am (if you have other needs or necessities let us know and we will do our best to find a suitable solution)

Cleaning and changing of bedding and towels

5- We clean your room every day.
We change the bedding and bath towels every three days: nature will thank you…and so will we.
Need an extra change of bedding or towels? We understand and, if necessary, will change them for you.
If instead you prefer a daily change of bedding and towels, the service carries a surcharge of € 10.00 per day.

Conduct

6- Handle the windows and mosquito netting in your bedroom and bathroom with care.

7- Please take items such as lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, surfboards, games, children’s pools, and any other object back into your room or onto your terrace after you have used them—otherwise our dog Leo will take care of these things in the way he sees fit.
Also, please always use the drying rack for beach towels and laundry—everyone likes cleanliness and decency—we hope you do too!

8- Use the garbage can in the bathroom to dispose of wipes, sanitary napkins, q-tips, and other hygienic-sanitary items. Do you want to have to pay the plumber to clean out the drains?!

9- Separate the garbage for recycling: in the courtyard you will find bins to separate undifferentiated garbage from organic waste for compost. Otherwise, you can always recycle organic waste by giving it directly to the chickens. What fun for the children…

10- Are you here with a group? Enjoy your stay together, but remember to put everything back in its proper place. If you have moved furniture or other items from one room to another, please put it back where you found it when you arrived.
Also, keep indoor furniture inside and leave on the terrace only that which will survive the elements out in the open!

How we imagine living together
When you are here at Bonsai you are not alone. Maybe you are here with friends or family, every day you will see us (we hope!), and you will most certainly encounter other guests.

We have good news for you: it is entire possible to live well together and to enjoy each other’s company.
In fact, the following is not only possible but also highly encouraged:

  • Do not exchange blows or gunshots, or even argue or raise your voice
  • Be courteous and smiley for the entire duration of your stay
  • We simply ask that you be tolerant (as long as it doesn’t require a superhuman effort!)
  • Use common sense and try to behave with a little bit of style and class
  • For us it is nice to imagine life among others lived in this way…and you?

Thanks…
That’s all for now, all that you need to live your experience tranquilly hare at the Bonsai agritourism.
